How Far Along? 33 weeks
Size of Baby: As long as celery
Weight Gain: 27 lbs since pre-pregnancy
Maternity Clothes: I’m so thankful that I bought my Irish sweater when we were in Ireland this past April, because it has worked perfectly as my Fall coat!
Nursery: The crib and dresser are built {thank you Tom!} Now we’re just anxiously awaiting the arrival of our rocking chair so we can finish decorating the rest of the nursery!
Movement: I love taking videos of my belly moving — Baby Walsh is an active one! Baby W is usually active when I lie down to go to bed at night — it’s particularly fun to cuddle up to Tom and have him feel Baby move π
Symptoms: I think the biggest change for me this week has been how tired I get when I get home from work. I’ve been so eager to start moving stuff into the nursery and organizing everything, but after about 20 min. I just get too tired! I’ve found that if I do a little bit every day, not only will it give me something to look forward to when I come home from school, but I also won’t feel so exhausted!
Sleep: I’ve been taking hour long naps at about 7:00 every night, but then I wake up at 2:30am wide awake. I need to start forcing myself to just stay up a little later so I can sleep through the night again!
Cravings: Sweets! I think I had oreos with milk every night before bed this week…oops! I guess I should enjoy that now while I still have an excuse π
What I Miss: I know this is weird, but being able to clean. Cleaning has always been something that relaxes me. However these days, I can barely get through doing a load of laundry before I’m exhausted!
Best Moment This Week: This {mama-t0-be} is in full nesting mode. This week I was eager to start washing some baby clothes and put things away inside the nursery. I’ve loved going through all of the wonderful gifts we received from our baby showers, and finding a home for each and every one of them in the nursery π
I also LOVED seeing the photos from our maternity photoshoot! If you haven’t seen them yet, be sure to check out my blog post. Our photos were taken by Michele V. Wagner Photography. Michele is a relative on Tom’s side of the family. Click here to check out more of her amazing work! I can’ wait for her to take our newborn photos once Baby W arrives. For those of you wondering…Lyla will make an appearance in the newborn photoshoot π
Looking Forward To: My ultrasound and 33 week appointment this Friday. I’m anxious to see how Baby W is measuring!
