“Ohhhhh we’re halfway there!” Every time I hear that Bon Jovi song it reminds me of the amazing flash mob we had at our wedding. {That video still makes me smile every time I watch it! 🙂 }
I can’t believe that I’m already halfway through my pregnancy. I was blessed with an easy first trimester, and the the second trimester has been good to me so far as well!
How Far Along? 20 weeks
Size of Baby: Banana
Weight Gain: 13 lbs. since pre-pregnancy weight
Maternity Clothes: I spend most of my time in my maternity casual clothes, but I’m excited to wear some of my new dressy outfits once school starts!
Nursery: Still cleaning out the current guest room, but beginning to have serious conversations about nursery colors & such!
Movement: No kicks yet, but I’m definitely feeling the “baby bubbles” every day now. It is the BEST feeling in the world knowing that Baby Walsh is active in there 🙂
Symptoms: As Tom would say, “You got your bump in New York!” Ever since coming back from my trip to NY, I feel like my bump has just taken off! It’s no wonder people love the 2nd trimester–I’ve been feeling great!
Sleep: I’m still waking up a few times each night to switch from sleeping on one side to the other.
Cravings: Salty snacks–such as wavy lays with french onion dip and honey mustard pretzels.
What I Miss: Being able to get out of bed easily in the morning–these days I need an extra little push!
Best Moment This Week: Moving all of my school items into my new classroom this week. I’m so excited to teach at a new school this year! I think it’s going to be a great fit for me. Look out for a classroom reveal right before school starts!
Looking Forward To: Seeing Baby W at our 20 week ultrasound–which is actually happening next week due to trying to work around my work schedule!
Now that I’m halfway through this pregnancy, I thought it would be fun to take a look back and see how much my belly has grown!
