How Far Along? 27 weeks {I can’t believe I’m already in the third trimester!}
Size of Baby: A head of cauliflower
Weight Gain: Down a pound from last week somehow…19 lbs. since pre-pregnancy weight
Maternity Clothes: I’ve been living in my LuLaRoe leggings while hanging out around the house–they’re so comfy! I’ve also bought this style dress in about every color that Target has to offer–it’s perfect for school!
Nursery: We’ve officially set a date on when to move our guest room furniture out! HUGE thank you to my brother & sister-in-law for providing us some storage space in their basement for our extra furniture 🙂 Now we’ve got to kick our butts in gear and finish sorting through the items still left in our current guest room.
Movement: I LOVE feeling baby move–it’s such a special bonding moment that I get to share with Baby Walsh right now. There have been times this week when I’ve noticed baby parts not just moving, but protruding from my belly–I had to give it a little nudge to get back in there!
Symptoms: I officially have an outie belly button! It’s also starting to get difficult to bend at the waist, so picking up Lyla’s toys and doing other cleaning tasks aren’t so easy anymore!
Sleep: I’ve been sleeping really well recently. I’ve also caught myself falling asleep earlier again, and often times on the couch while watching TV at night–reminds me of the early days of my pregnancy!
Cravings: Mac n cheese!
What I Miss: All of my non-maternity fall & winter clothes that I just had to pack away until next year.
Best Moment This Week: Watching Lyla snuggle with my baby bump. She’s always been a lap dog, and would just prop herself right on top of my stomach while hanging out on the couch. I definitely think she knows that something’s up because her new favorite thing to do is lay down right next to me and place her head on my belly {melts my heart.}
Looking Forward To: Celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary this week & the Walsh family annual trip to Door County next weekend!
